Global Crops Symposium logoGrain industry members are invited to attend the inaugural Canadian Global Crops Symposium taking place April 14-16, 2014 in Winnipeg, Canada.  This international event will connect Canada’s grains, oilseeds and pulse crop supply chains with buyers and importers from around the globe, and it will showcase Canada’s growing capacity to export food and feed commodities.  It is being held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Canada Grains Council.

By participating in the Symposium you will:

  • Have an opportunity to meet presidents and CEOs of many of Canada’s largest agribusiness corporations and network with grain merchants who represent Canada’s leading commodity exporters
  • Hear customer perspectives on why, as major importers of food and feed commodities, they prefer to do business with Canada
  • Learn how Canadian grain producers are stepping up investment and productivity through adoption of new technologies to meet world market demand
  • Gain insight into the future diversification and growth of Canada’s crop-based agriculture

The program agenda and registration form can be found at www.canadiancrops.com. Updates to the program will be posted to the Canada Grains Council website at www.canadagrainscouncil.ca and can be accessed by clicking on the News tab at the top of the page.
